Places to go around Paphos

This page is designed to give you some idea of the interesting places in and around Paphos. There are so many places that it will take time to complete the information, so we apologise for the fact that there isn’t a lot, yet. If you find somewhere or know somewhere that you think others should know about, please feel free to send an e-mail and tell us about it. E-mail to manager@paphosinfo.com with details and location.

Tombs of the Kings

These are impressive rock cut tombs. They are to be found on the Tomb of the Kings Road (where else?) which is the start of the road to Coral Bay. Situated on the sea side of the road, opposite the Land of the Kings Hotel Apartments

Fancy a picnic?

Paphos Forest is an extensive area to the North of Paphos. If you want a picnic and have a car, there are several picnic sites set amongst the trees, with special BBQ pits constructed to make it safe to light a fire in the forest.

We would recommend a visit to the Monashilakas Picnic Site just outside Pano Panegia, about 40 minutes from Paphos. Click here for more details.

Panegia Winery

In the hills North of Paphos, the little village of Pano Panegia is home to the Panegia Winery. Visit at any time, see how the wine is produced – and taste a few. If you find a wine you like, you can purchase a bottle (or case) direct from source and save money.
